You will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining web applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks such as Express.js and Ruby on Rails.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-centric interfaces.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
• Conduct SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine ranking.
• Manage version control using GitHub for collaborative development efforts.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing web applications for improved performance.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in web development technologies and methodologies.

Experience

• Proven experience in application development with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, REST, and APIs.
• Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker is advantageous.
• Understanding of SEO principles and their application in web development is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
